We launched the River Rose website in December of 2025, and with it, the next chapter of a calling that emerged in very ordinary ways, through conversations at the food pantry, relationships formed over time, and walking alongside people who were willing to work hard but needed a little help finding stability.
River Rose is a reflection of what many of you have already seen unfolding at the ranch. Some of you have visited. Some have participated in workshops. Others have followed our work from a distance. What started as a place for retreat and reflection has become a place where people rebuild confidence, skills, and hope.
This season, we’re currently walking with:
Each situation is different, but the common thread is simple: practical support, dignity, and stability, one relationship at a time.
The website is new, and I’m sure we’ve missed a few details or could clarify things better. If you’re willing, we would genuinely appreciate your feedback; anything from wording that’s unclear to corrections we should make. This is still very much a learning journey for us.
River Rose is a new venture for Lisa and me, but it’s grown naturally out of years of listening, serving, and responding to real needs. We’re finding our footing as we go, and we’d deeply appreciate your prayers as we continue to walk with people toward resilient, sustainable lives.
If you’d like to become more involved, ask questions, or simply understand the vision more fully, please reach out. I’d be glad to schedule time to talk.
Thank you for being part of our wider community, and for caring about the kind of quiet, faithful work that rarely makes headlines but changes lives.
With gratitude,
Rex and Lisa
